New tests have proved that a new painting believed to be original Mona Lisa could infact be true.
The tests were carried out after the painting was bought forward last September.
“When we add these new findings to the wealth of scientific and physical studies we already had, I believe anyone will find the evidence of a Leonardo attribution overwhelming,” said David Feldman vice-president of the foundation said.
There is a Mona Lisa in the Paris Louvre Art Museum. For over three centuries it has been thought it as the only one painted by Leonardo. This new finding proves Leonardo may have painted other copies.
