A fresh new look has been revealed for the All Blacks rugby jersey, but fans are already making fuss about the absence of a white collar.
The picture released by Adidas of Dan Carter sporting the jersey has caused speculation as to whether the white collar has definitely been phased out, or if it has just been blackened out for advertisements in suspense for next weeks official launch.
The shirt will be launched in London with the All Blacks playing England at Twickenham on November 9th.
However while NZ Rugby Union have described the new playing strip as “an evolution” other fans are not quite so keen.
Certain fans have even taken to the official All Black Facebook page to voice their concern, with Lincoln Gunning proclaiming how he believes, “the white collar makes the jersey. Hopefully its not long before they change it back”.
