The innovative feature by Audi shows the driver the speed they should be moving in order to reach the next traffic light during a green phase.

Not only would this save time for the individual car driver and help them to reach their destination quicker, but Audi also predicts this feature to correspond to a saving of roughly 900 million liters of fuel! The system is an online feature that networks the car with the central traffic control computer that controls the traffic lights in the city.

Target information then appears in the display of the driver information system.  While a market launch of this car is set to be released soon, Audi predicts that this innovate system will be the future of the car industry.

  1. I personally don’t think it is a very good idea what if a kid press the button and wants to walk across the road. How will people know they will be crossing.

  2. This sounds a really good idea in theory but what it could also cause problems. How can they predict if a pedestrian at a crossing is going to slow traffic flow? I hope they test it well.

  3. I don’t think that it is a good idea because might not predict if people want to cross
