Netherlands is the first country in the world to unveil glow in the dark road markings.

The lines on the road glow due to a special “photo-luminising” powder. The powder charges up in the daytime and slowly releases a green glow at night.

The paint is able to glow for up to eight hours after light has been absorbed.

the road markings is being run as an alternative to having streetlights.

It is the first time “glowing lines” technology has been tried out on the road.

  1. I wish in New Zealand they had roads like that so now their is no point of having head lights on cars because the roads are light up for you. So the government can now change them like this and then have maybe less crashes…

  2. Adding onto the destroyer – then we would have to remake cars which would take FOREVER!
