New Zealand’s National Certificates of Educational Achievement (NCEA) are national qualifications for senior secondary school students.
The NCEA exam results are available online after being released at 7am this morning.
Students can check their results online at nzqa.govt.nz
Last year 158,179 students were tested in 119 different NCEA exams nationwide.
By noon around 65,000 students had logged in to check their results.
Last year’s NCEA exams were affected by the 7.8 magnitude Kaikoura earthquake on November 14, and floods that hit Wellington the following day.
More than 20,000 students had to have emergency grades submitted on their behalf due to the earthquake and flooding.
Where students were able to sit exams, the authority used the better of the students’ two grades, either what they got in the exam, or the grade they received in practice exams earlier in the year.
