The Education Ministry have announced that NCEA and Scholarship exams will be delayed by two weeks.

The exams will now start on Monday 22 November and finish on Friday 14 December, two weeks later than the original schedule.

The decision has been made due to the disruption caused by the alert level 4 lockdown.

The Ministry of Education also indicated that further changes might be made once it was clearer how long the lockdown would last.

However, the exams would probably not be able to be moved again due to the closeness to Christmas.
