NATO conference in Wales

The 2014 NATO Summit has come to an end in Wales, United Kingdom.

NATO stand for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and is a group of the 28 nations who have formed a military alliance based on the North Atlantic Treaty which was signed on 4 April 1949.

NATO looks at ways that it can spread peace throughout the world. It includes countries such as the United Kingdom, USA, France and Germany.

This year President Obama used his NATO speech to highlight problems in Iraq and Syria.

British Prime Minister David Cameron closed the summit by talking about Ukraine and Afghanistan and how his country would pledge 1000 troops to help these situations.
