NASA has announced they will launched the first inflatable home into space.

The home, which is called the Bigelow Expandable Activity Module (BEAM for short),  will be blasted into space on Friday, 8th  April.

BEAM will land and be deployed on the International Space Station.

The inflatable home looks like a giant pillow and, when fully inflated in space, it will be large enough to hold a car.

Astronauts will test the module, which is designed by Nasa and Bigelow Aerospace, for two years to see how it holds up.
