Military hovercraft lands on busy beach

Beach goers in  in Russia had a surprise over the weekend when a military hovercraft ran onto the beach.

The Russian hovercraft is called a  ‘zubr’ and it landed on a popular beach near the Russian town of Kaliningrad.

The RDM (Russian Defence Ministry) said the ship’s crew were carrying out a training exercise.

According to Russian newspapers, the ministry said it was not sure what people were doing on the beach on a warm day in August.

Luckily nobody was hurt during the exercise.

  3. Wow that’s amazing who would think that someone as smart and important as them would be that unprotective and put all those hundreds of people who just came to have a good day at the beach I’m glad I’m not them and talk about a nice day at the beach sun , water and boats that nearly kill you.

  4. Why would they let a big ship come to a beach? People comes to the beach to have fun and do what they want to there not letting a ship crush them into pieces! Why would they be excercising when they are suppose to be looking out? People might’ve died there! Unbelievable!

  6. Thats not supposed to happen because there might be a person underneath the water. Im glad noone got hurt 🙂

  7. That hover craft is huge and it’s so slow. It’s weird that the people near the hover craft never moved. And yes they were relaxing and having fun.
