Phil Mickelson has won the 2021 PGA Golf Championship. Mickelson shot a final-round, 1-over-par 73 to win by two shots at The Ocean Course in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
Mickelson now becomes the oldest golfer to win a major championship. At 50 years, 11 months and 3 days old, Mickelson broke the record held by Julius Boros. He was 48 when he won the 1968 PGA Championship.
The victory is Mickelson’s sixth major title, with his most recent victory in a major being the 2013 British Open.
