An American man has left over 30,000 cars to his local church in his will.

Dennis Erickson’s gift stunned the Celebration Church in Lakeville, Minnesota, as only a few people knew his collecting obsession.

The church is now trying to figure out how to sell the 30,000 cars.

The vast majority of the cars are only small toy models. However,  it also included a full-sized Ford Model T, a 1959 Edsel and a 1966 Rambler.

Further investigation revealed that Erickson had scoured the internet, car shows and antique shops for his models and cars were still arriving at his house in the days after his death on December 3, 2015.

Experts believe the collection could fetch well into six figures and the church plans to use the proceeds to remodel and expand its youth facilities.
