A man from Denmark who lost his hand in a firework accident has become the first man to have a bionic hand that can feel things like a real hand.
The electronic hand is the first in the world that can tell how hard or how big objects are by touching them.
Even though this hand is a huge improvement and development, it still can’t feel all things that a real hand can. It cannot tell if objects are hot or cold, or if they are rough or smooth.
The hand is connected to the nerves in the arm and scientific development software sends messages to the brain.
Scientists are pleased with the developments to this bionic hand and the huge step into the future that it represents.
