Two fire fighters rescued a family from a stuck elevator in Massachusetts last Wednesday with the help of the magic of Disney.

4-year-old Kaelyn Kerr, her mother, and her baby brother got stuck inside the elevator when the door jammed and wouldn’t open.

The only way out was to climb up a ladder to the top of the elevator and over a wall. However, when the fire fighters lowered the ladder into the elevator, 4 year old Kaelyn began to freak out.

So the two men, John Keough and Scott Myette, who both had young children of their own, tried to calm the frightened girl with her favourite song.

Scott found the song, Let it Go, from Disney’s movie, Frozen, on his phone and he and John began to sing along, hoping to calm Kaelyn down.

The song worked and the fire fighters managed to calm Kaelyn to the point where she was comfortable with them and climbed up the ladder without any problem.
