Linda Edwards searched for her cat, Spaz, for 3 months after he went missing in 2002 in Las Vegas.

Linda set up flyers all over town but finally gave up her search on New Year’s Eve of 2002.

Recently, a thin and dirty stray cat was brought into West Flamingo Animal Hospital. After examining the cat, vets checked to see if the cat had a microchip that could tell them who the cat belong to.

Vets sound discovered that the little stray cat was in fact the missing cat, Spaz, and were able to contact Linda and return Spaz home after 12 years.

Microchipping is a great way to make sure that missing pets can be returned to their rightful owners if found. Linda is very glad that she had Spaz microchipped and that he is now back home.
