Kiwi singer Lorde has postponed her 2022 tour of New Zealand until 2023.

The concerts have been postponed due to the uncertainty around the current Covid-19 outbreak.

The Grammy Award-winning kiwi artist was set to tour nine locations in New Zealand and Australia in February and March next year. The tour would have been the first time she has toured the region since 2017.

Lorde released her third album Solar Power earlier this year.

A spokesperson for Lorde said that both Australia and New Zealand borders need to be fully open to both citizens and non-citizens before the tour could go ahead.
