Liverpool have beaten Tottenham 2-0 in the Champions League final in Madrid.

Mohamed Salah scored with a penalty after two minutes when Spurs’ Moussa Sissoko was punished for a handball.

Spurs dominated for the majority of the game but failed to create any meaningful chances.

Liverpool keeper Alisson made some good saves in the final 10 minutes as Spurs attacked through Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Christian Eriksen.

And their failure to score was compounded in the final minutes as substitute Divock Origi scored.

The result ensures manager Jurgen Klopp won his first trophy as Liverpool manager.
