Some supermarkets are limiting the amount of vegetables people are allowed to buy!

It’s because of bad weather in the Murcia region of Spain where a lot of the fruit and vegetables eaten in the UK is grown.

Wet and cold weather ruined crops like lettuces so there are fewer to sell to supermarkets.

Tesco has limited customers to buying three iceberg lettuces, to try and ensure they don’t run out of it.

The shortage of leafy vegetables is expected to last until April.

  1. Yeah why can’t they get the lettuce from another country.I hope the other countries want to help them or they need to ask kindly. They should ask the Queen of the UK.
