The Kiwis have beaten Great Britain 23-8 in their second rugby league test in Christchurch.

The victory means that the Kiwi side secure a 2-0 series win.

The Kiwis built their game around solid forward play and tight defence.

After an early penalty apiece, Joseph Manu and Shaun Johnson scored tries for New Zealand. This meant they went into half time leading 16-2.

Ken Maumalo added another try after the break, before Josh Hodgson’s scored for the British side.

A late field goal and another penalty goal iced the victory for New Zealand.

The result added to a miserable tour for Great Britain who also lost a fortnight ago to a Tongan Invitational XIII.
