New Zealand has been beaten in both the women’s and men’s finals at the Rugby Sevens World Cup in Cape Town.

The Black Ferns were beaten 24-22 by Australia.

The Black Ferns opened the scoring before Australia and scored 2 tries to take a 12-10 halftime lead.

Australia extended its lead to 24-10 before New Zealand fought back but it wasn’t enough to win.

In the men’s game, Fiji took control of their game right from the start.

They scored two tries in the first two minutes and another two in the first half to lead 24-5 at halftime.

Two second-half tries to the All Blacks wasn’t enough as they were beaten 29-12.

The World Series for the men starts in Hong Kong in November, while the women start in Dubai in December.
