Today is Thursday 11th May,
In our learning today we are going to continue our two-week-long piece of work around our amazing country. We are creating a Tour of Aotearoa. Watch the video below and then read the instructions that follow.
Our task over the next two weeks is to complete a 10 Day Tour of New Zealand. Each day we are going to visit a new town or city. Your learnig tasks (reading, writing and maths) will relate to that place or region.
Today we are moving onto Wellington – our capital city.
As we work through the tasks below you will need to add where we go on your Map of New Zealand. We have created a booklet that you can print off and add to daily (CLICK HERE). If you don’t have a printer then please just use a school book to complete the tasks.

After your research, you must write a short diary entry for each of your three days in Auckland. We suggest 3 or 4 sentences each day. If you want to add some photographs that would look great. Below is an example;
Today our family went up the Sky Tower. The Sky Tower is in the middle of Auckland city. While in the site we had a picnic lunch down at the Viaduct Harbour. In the afternoon we walked around the Auckland Domain.
