Today is Friday 3rd April, 2020.

Today is Formal Friday.

A day where, even in isolation, you dress in formal clothing. In our learning today we are going to read a short story, write a short story based on an image and work on fractions in maths.

READING – Short Story

Today we are going to read a short story about a mouse with a long tail.

  1. Read through the text which can be found by CLICKING HERE.
  2. After reading this story draw a book cover for this story.

WRITING – Poetry

Today you are going to use the following image as a prompt for your writing.
Look at the image – we have a mouse, a baked cake and a strange animal. What could your story be about? Try and be creative and whacky in your story.
Remember to plan your story – characters, setting, vocabulary and plot. Once it is written then add your story to the comments below.
