Kane Williamson teaching his dog new tricks

Blackcaps captain Kane Williamson has spent his time in isolation giving his dog slip catching practice.

Williamson should be in India getting ready for the start of the Indian Premier League season.

However, with the cancellation of this competition, he has been spending quality time with his pet dog, Sandy.

Last Friday, Williamson shared a video to his 916,000 Instagram followers of an impressive piece of fielding from Sandy. Waiting patiently in the slip cordon, Sandy leapt into the air to dismiss Williamson with a stunning catch. Williamson’s reactions shows how excited he was.

The video has been viewed more than 270,000 times.

Numerous people around the world have posted clips on social media of their dogs trying to do something similar. Could your dog do this? Let us know in the comments below.
