New Zealand Prime Minister John Key was ejected from Parliament yesterday after an exchange with Greens co-leader James Shaw over the Panama Papers.
Key was sent from the debating chamber after not following the instructions of the Speaker of the House.
The speaker of the house is the person who controls the deabtes and ensure they are fair. The current speaker is David Carter.
While calling for order, Mr Carter, told Mr Key to “resume his seat”. When Mr Key didn’t he was ordered to leave the chamber.
The Prime Minister was answering a question from Green Party Leader Mr Shaw on why he refused to apologise to charities Greenpeace, the Red Cross, and Amnesty for linking them to the Panama Papers.
Below is a video of John Key being thrown out. Skip to the 5 minute mark to see the action.
