New Zealand Prime Minister John Key has announced that he is extending the next school holidays by one week due to the success of the Black Caps.
This means that the holidays, which start this Thursday, will last for three weeks rather than two.
This news has been met with excitement from students ( and teachers) around the country.
However, a number of parents are extremely upset with the announcement. A Facebook page has been set up by parents in a bid to change the Prime Minister’s mind.
Thanks for reading this article and HAPPY APRIL FOOLS!
