John Banks is currently before the High Court in Auckland accused of filing a false electoral donation returns.
The former MP and is being asked questions relating to his failed Auckland 2010 mayoral campaign.
In particular Banks is being questioned over money that he is believed to have been given by a number of Auckland companies. It is alleged that these donations were not recorded in the correct way.
Mr Banks wife has also given testimony during the trial.
