The coronavirus quarantine in Japan has not stopped one school from celebrating their graduation.

The students were so determined not to miss out, they built their virtual graduation ceremony – on Minecraft!

The father of one of the boys involved shared pictures on social media saying it looks as good as the real thing.

The students built a huge assembly hall with a stage and seating. They also had a red carpet for all the virtual classmates to walk down.

Minecraft has become a place for students in Japan to hang out, following the government’s decision to close schools two weeks ago.
