First, it was pavlova, then lolly cake, and then Lorde, but is Australia now trying to steal our Prime Minister?
Australians have just rated New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as the most believable politician in a recent study.
In the study, 10 percent of Australian voters expressed strong negative feelings towards Jacinda Ardern, compared with 34 percent for Scott Morrison and 19 percent for Albanese.
The study also showed that 44 percent of participants felt strong positive sentiment toward Ardern. This is significantly ahead of Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition leader Anthony Albanese with just 20 percent of voters having strong positive sentiment toward them.
The study included responses from 1000 eligible Australian voters.
It’s not the first time Ardern has beaten Australian politicians at their own game. Back in 2019, she was also voted Australia’s most trusted politician in the Believability index scoring 77 points.
