Prime Minister Enrico Letta is quitting his role as the leader of Italy.

Letta said last week that he would submit his resignation to President Giorgio Napolitano after his final Cabinet meeting.

He has only been Prime Minister for less than a year.

The resignation is because Letta was unable to get along with the newly elected leader of one of his coalition partners.
