A man in Malaysia has been recognised by Guinness World Records for having 42 teeth in his mouth, which is 10 more than the average person.<\/p>\n
The record holder, 33-year-old Prathab Muniandy, discovered his unusual number of teeth a few years ago during a family gathering.<\/p>\n
In 2021, while having tea with relatives, he mentioned that it felt like extra teeth were growing in his mouth. His family decided to count them and found he already had 38 teeth. Later, a dental X-ray showed that four more teeth were still hidden under his gums.<\/p>\n
By early 2023, those extra teeth had appeared, bringing the total to 42. Dentists confirmed the number when checking his mouth for the world record application.<\/p>\n
Most adults usually have 32 teeth. This means Muniandy has 10 more than most people.<\/p>\n
Luckily, his extra teeth have not caused him any pain or serious problems. He said most of them grew straight and work normally.<\/p>\n
Many people do not even notice the difference until he tells them. When they hear about it, they are often very surprised.<\/p>\n
Guinness World Records officially gave him the title for the most teeth in a man\u2019s mouth.<\/p>\n
