A two-year-old boy from Scotland has made headlines by possibly becoming the youngest person ever to reach the base camp of Mount Everest. <\/p>\n
The young adventurer, Carter Dallas, didn’t climb the mountain’s slopes on his own; instead, he experienced the journey from his father Ross’ back, with his mother Jade walking right beside them. <\/p>\n
Together, this family reached the base camp, which is an impressive 5,364 meters above sea level, on October 25 last year.<\/p>\n
The Dallas family, who originally come from Glasgow, are currently on a grand adventure, traveling across Asia for a whole year. <\/p>\n
Their achievement at Everest’s base camp is especially noteworthy because the previous record was held by a four-year-old child from the Czech Republic.
