In a groundbreaking move towards sustainability, Air New Zealand has unveiled plans to integrate BETA’s ALIA CTOL, its first battery-powered electric aircraft, into its fleet by 2026.<\/p>\n

The aircraft will initially serve as a cargo-only service in collaboration with New Zealand Post.<\/p>\n

The ALIA, which has demonstrated an impressive range of over 480 kilometers in testing, will be tailored for routes approximately 150 kilometers in length, according to an Air New Zealand spokesperson.<\/p>\n
