Nelson Mandela demonstrated a heroic act of bravery when he fought against a racially unacceptable apartheid system in South Africa.
It was this system in that non-white coloured citizens were subjected to scrutiny and segregation from other citizens, but Mandela’s heroic move cost him 27 years of his life.
As in standing up for civil rights he was classified as a terrorist and sentenced to 27 years in prison.
However a question that “Prezence Digital” poses to us all is, “would the father of our nation have spent 27 years in captivity if he (and others) had access to the same technology, social media platforms and tools as we do today”?
Watch this amazing video of what Nelson Mandela’s fight to freedom could have been like if he had the same social media sites such as Facebook and twitter that are present in our modern world.
