4. I think my parents are going crazy not giving any pocket money at all. They did not give me any since 10 years. But usually my dad put some money into my bank account, that’s like once in a month. I feel jealous because the United Kingdom gets so much money in a week. I just found out that 6.50 pounds is $13.95 dollars in New Zealand.

   1 child gets 4 $6 per week

   4 children get no pocket money

12. I think somebody should do a study about New Zealand’s kids pocket money. I get $5 a week(half my age), but sometimes Mum forgets.

13. i get 6$ per Friday my pocket money increases by 1$ each birthday i have. p.s i have to feed the dog, do recycling, get my moms iPad and vacuuming the house.

20. I don’t get any pocket money. EVER!.But I wonder, how much money kids that have pocket money (for no reason!!) have? Work for your money cause kids that get pocket money, might not have much money when they are older, cause they never had to work for it. If you’re rich and you get pocket money you are probably not doing anything to earn it. Not getting pocket money gives me a hindsight of the world we’ll live in when we’re older, when we’re 30 we won’t still get pocket money!!!!

    But, I think that children get an allowance about $2.00 a week.
    So, they would learn how to save more than spending them every time they get an allowance.
    In this case, if children get $2.00 dollars a week, they would learn a proper discipline to save up their allowance.
