A recent study in the United Kingdom shows that young people are getting more and more pocket money.
A company took a survey of more than 1,200 children aged between 8 and 15 years old, and asked them about their weekly allowances.
The survey found that the average kid in the UK gets about £6.50 each week, which is a 52p rise since last year.
The research also suggests boys are getting more money than girls.
After finding this article we wondered how much does the average New Zealand student get for their pocket money each week?
