Hoverbikes have hit the market in Japan.

Last week a Japanese company unveiled its single-rider hoverbike. Their unveiling included a video showing the airborne vehicle circling a track.

The hoverbike is called the XTURISMO Limited Edition. It was taken for a test drive at the Fuji Speedway Racing Course in Oyama.

The bike features a combustion engine and four battery-powered motors that allow it to move at speeds of up to 100km per hour.

XTURISMO said the bike is available in Japan for around $900,000NZD!!
