High diver leaps out of helicopter

High diver Orlando Duque has performed a 75-foot tuck dive from a helicopter, beside the Statue of Liberty in New York.

The Columbian extreme diver reached speeds of 80 kilometers per hour by the time he hit the water.

The jump was a publicity stunt for the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series competition, which is taking part in the US.

Check out the video to see him leaping from the helicopter.

  1. Thats freaking awesome!! thats like another way of sky diving but into the water.. It would have had to be fearless.. but that is soooo inspiring!

  2. just remember that these girls are 9 and so that was probebly the best they could do, so theres no point in being mean about it.
