A herd of 16 cows has helped police officers in Florida catch a fleeing suspect.

Suspect Jennifer Anne Kaufman ran away from police following a car chase. She thought running through a nearby field would help.

However, 16 cows ran after her, eventually forcing her into a fence, where police were waiting to arrest her.

An arrest report shows the car Kaufman was in crashed during a police pursuit.

Kaufman is being held on a $4,500 bond. Charges against her include resisting an officer and drug possession.
