Think you’ve heard the last of Harry Potter? Think again! Author, J.K. Rowling, has recently released a short story, picking up from where the final movie and book left off…with Harry and his friends now grown ups with kids of their own.
The short story is written as a news article written from a Harry Potter character, reporter Reeta Skeeter, and offers readers a glimpse into Harry’s life after the final showdown with Lord Voldemort.
Now 33 years old, Harry is now married to Ginny Weasley and has 3 children. He works for the Ministry of Magic as an Auror, fighting dark magic in the wizarding world…after all, isn’t that what he does best?!
If you are a Ron or Hermione fan, don’t worry, the short story has some info on Harry’s lovable friends too, including the quirky Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom.
This short story follows J.K. Rowling’s 7 best selling books in the Harry Potter series and was recently published on the author’s fansite, Pottermore.
J.K. Rowling has no plans for a new Harry Potter book, but the end of the short story hints at other possible future updates into the life of one of the world’s best loved characters which fans all over the world will be dying to get their hands on!
