Hamilton Zoo has welcomed two new additions to their array of zoo animals, two tiny Sumatran Tigers! The Tigers 10 year-old Oz and six year-old Sali are the proud new parents to the tiny stripy tigers who were born on November 16th. While the tiger pups are still not strong enough to leave their mothers den, zoo visitors could catch a glimpse of the tiny clubs later in the month.
The Hamilton Zoo curator Samantha Kudeweh monitored the 5 hour birth and helped assess the two clubs on Wednesday. It is thought that the two cubs are a male and female with the male cub weighing 2.15kg while his sister weighs 2.04kg.

  2. Sumatran tigers are the smallest in the world. We noticed a typo in the title, it should say cubs not clubs. Thanks for writing a cute article. From kahurangi group, room 3, springston school.
