The New Zealand Government has launched a COVID-19 ‘digital diary’ app.

The App is a way to help Kiwis keep track of where they’ve been and assist in contact tracing.

The idea is that businesses and shops use the app to help record those people coming onto their premises.

The App has been developed by the Ministry of Health.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the new Government app will let people record where they’ve been and when, all while keeping the data to themselves.

The app is not compulsory to join and can be download on IOS and Android.
