Google has began building a self-driving car that will hopefully begin testing later this year.

Google plans to build 100 prototype vehicles which will be tested by drivers with manual controls.

The cars won’t have a steering wheel, accelerator or brake. The software and sensors does all the work for the driver.

The prototypes will have a top speed of only 40km/h for safety whilst testing is undergone.

These vehicles will be battery powered and include safety features such as a flexible windshield and foamlike material covering the front of the car.

  3. I think it is bad because amanging a glitch or on of the sensor fail or it doesn’t update the map and started driving over things.

  4. A SELF DRIVING CAR! WOW COOL! WHAT IF IT GLITCHES AND DRIVES OVER REALLY EXPENSIVE STUFF AND PEOPLE? THEY WILL BE CHARGED LOADS OF MONEY! I WOULD STILL DRIVE IT THOUGH =D

  5. Wow, Its just these days things are getting expensive in our days because thing like this are getting upgraded!

  6. WOW that is so cool! I would hate it to mis-read your hand coordinates and crash into something though, The first few makes of it wont be 100% Reliable.

  7. I really want those cars. They should be safe. Google are a really big company so people trust them. They wouldn’t want to betray that trust.

  8. Creative idea, but personally I wouldn’t like to ride in one because I just sounds so dangerous! I know google are a well-trusted company but a self-driving car? I think that’s taking it a bit too far. But keep creating google!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. That’s So cool but how will it know where you want to go and what if it crash’s with other cars
