Four die at Dreamworld

Four people have been killed on a ride at Dreamworld in the Gold Coast, Australia.

Two men and two women died in the Thunder River Rapids ride.

Dreamworld has been closed and an investigation is under way.

The Thunder River Rapids ride whisks visitors in circular rafts along a fast-moving artificial river.

Dreamworld bills itself as Australia’s biggest theme park with more than 50 rides and attractions.

Thunder River Rapids ride
The ride opened in 1986.  It is a family ride, and riders must be over 120cm tall.  The ride carries up to six people per car, and travels at up to 45km/h.

  2. Thats really sad and what if that was u on that ride. Also i heard that two of the people survived but four of them died ??

  3. That is so sad. I heard that the people who died were parents of some children, who were standing there watching!

  4. Its SO SAD!!! I’ve been on this ride! I cant believe this happened cant imagine what the families are feeling like!

  5. apparently some parents pushes their kids off and they survived while they watched their parents die. SOOOOOOOOOOOO sad.
