Floods hit Texas

Warnings of flash flooding have been issued across seven US states as a massive downpour of torrential rain triggered extremely dangerous conditions in Houston, Texas.

Over 30 million Americans were told to brace for dangerous thunderstorms including record-breaking flooding, hail and possible tornadoes.

Meteorologists have warned that the terrible weather could expand to other areas.

11 deaths have been confirmed as a result of the storm. At least 12 people are still missing, and countless more have been evacuated .

In Houston, more than 80,000 people were without power and the flood waters closed roads including Interstate 10 and Interstate 45.

A state of disaster was stated in Houston on Monday.

    I wonder how high the flood waters will reach.

  3. I feel so sad for the people of Texas. No one deserves to go through that. Hopefully they can work together and help rebuild buildings.
