I’m sure you’ve all seen your share of the ice bucket challenge videos, but is its going too far?

A grandfather in the US posted his ice bucket challenge on Facebook, but got a lot of negative responses due to the fact that he had forced his 10 month old granddaughter to participate in the event.

The ice bucket challenge was created to raise money for those suffering from ALS, also known as motor neuron disease, which causes progressive weakness of the muscles until sufferers can no longer move by themselves and have difficulty swallowing, speaking and breathing.

People all around the world have taken part in the challenge to raise awareness of the disease and have donated money to help find a cure.

However, many believe this man has taken it too far, by involving an infant who does not understand the meaning of the challenge and has no say in her participation. The little girl’s father was horrified when he saw the video online and was angry and upset, saying that it is a form of child abuse.

Where the grandfather was prepared from the icy water, and closed his eyes and mouth, the little girl was taken totally by surprise with the huge weight of freezing water tipped onto her head.

What do you think? Has it gone too far? Watch the video below!
