Social network giant Facebook has announced it’s buying a virtual reality company.
the company is called Oculus, and they are paying about $2.5 billion NZD.
Their main product is a headset called the Oculus Rift, where users wearing a special headset enter a virtual gaming world.
Facebook are currently looking at buying a number of companies as they look into the future of electronics and the web.

I’m a gamer, and I know that the rift is for gaming.Why on earth would Facebook, a social networking site have a use for this
I myself am a gamer, I would be delighted to buy a Oculus Rift for FPS games like BF4, But why would facebook want to buy it? So gamers can just go on FaceBook on their Oculus?
