Facebook adds ‘care’ emoji

Facebook has announced that it is adding a seventh emoji to its group of reactions.

The new “cares” emoji, will show as an emoticon hugging a heart and will be rolled out on the main app and website globally next week.

Furthermore, a pulsating heart on Messenger being rolled out starting today. 

The company hope that these reactions give people additional ways to show their support during the #COVID19 crisis.

The emoji can be accessed via the “Like” button the same way Facebook reaction staples of thumbs up, heart and anger currently can be added.

In my opinion it doesn’t look the best. I mean, the message is nice, but it’s probably not in it’s final form in the image shown, so revision is still possible. It is nice for you to be able to express your caring, especially in a time of crisis such as this one.
