Thieves in South Africa are starting to target people with dreadlocks and stealing their hair.

The robbers capture people with dreadlocks, cut off their hair and let them go free.

Dreadlocks can take years to grow with people growing them as part of their culture or to look fashionable.

The dreadlocks are being used by stylists to create instants dreadlocks for people.  The more people who want dreadlocks quickly the more valuable they are becoming.

  1. Why can’t these people just wait and grow their own hair. Using someone else’s hair is yuck.

  2. I don’t think it’s fair on the people who have dreadlocks. My uncle has dreadlocks. They waited for it to grow.

  3. why would people actually do this kind of thing citing of other people’s hair and giving it someone else who wants dreadlocks that is crazy they cut their hair and let them go after they cut them off who would do that kind of thing to kids mums dads kids of have them the might think that they would die if someone just takes them somewhere and cut off their dreadlocks that are crazy
