St Mark’s School is on a quest for information surrounding the theft of hundreds of plants set aside for its annual school fair.
The Christchurch school was shocked to learn that an external person had already collect hundreds of plants donated by the local Oderings Garden Centre.
This unidentifiable figure is not believed to be from the school, but has simply taken the donated plants for their own benefit.
It is estimated that the plants would have raised around $1500 at the fair, which is a significant loss for the school.
However Oderings came to the rescue and resupplied the plants, putting the loss on their own accord.
