US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un have met for an historic summit in Singapore yesterday.

The two leaders shook hands and posed for photographs, before moving inside the hotel to talk to reporters.

Mr Trump said he felt “really great” about the meeting.

Afterward there was a signing ceremony in front of journalists from around the world.

The document they signed included promises to work together to build a new relationship between the two countries.

The document also outlined the “complete denuclearisation” of the Korean peninsula. This means that there would be no nuclear weapons in North and South Korea.
