Disability Commissioner role created

The New Zealand Government have created a Disability Commissioner.
The person who has this role will be formally responsible for the rights of disabled people in New Zealand.
The position will be housed within the Human Rights commission and Justice Minister Amy Adams says it’s a first for New Zealand.
