Daylight savings in New Zealand

New Zealand has moved to daylight savings time.

Daylight saving officially started on Sunday 25th September 2022.

Daylight saving occured at 2am, when clocks rolled forward an hour.

While moving your clocks forward, Fire and Emergency NZ is also encouraging everyone to check their smoke alarms this weekend as well as their timepieces.

Daylight saving ends on April 2 2023.
